This debut EP "Unstable" by Melbourne based Alternative/Metal/Emo band Furious George presents a huge emotional release on all fronts. Lyrically, the band explores the depths of the inner self, dealing with mental illness and when life gets you down. The track “Inadequate” probably does this the best and the over the course of 6 minutes, it really showcases the most talented parts of the band including lead vocalist Jake Mandaliti who shifts from spoken word to passionate yells. It is a slow building track both musically and lyrically with soft verses and an explosive chorus, as Jake screams “I’ve never been good enough. The expectations were far too high. I’ve never been good enough. Am I just living a meaningless life?”
