Wildfires are a very new 5 piece melodic hardcore/alternative band on NSW's local heavy music scene, having already one single under their belt there definitely will be a lot more to come from this band, there's no confirmed date that I've been given but the band are expecting to drop an EP around mid 2018, so that gives fans something to look forward to in the future whilst the band work hard on making a name for themselves in the local scene.

As someone who is a metal-core fan more than anything, I didn't know what to expect from this band as I have yet to see them perform live and I'm not the biggest fan of the melodic hardcore genre, so their debut single was my first chance to give them a listen and after having listened, this band is a perfect example to why I sometimes drift away from that genre and listen to some melodic hardcore music.
