Sydney boys Diamond Construct have hit us with their brand new single ‘Paradox’ and it is with my pleasure that I got to review their song prior to its release. This is the first time I’ve ever listened these boys and while this music is not exactly my taste I can assure you, these guys are very talented.

The song starts with such a strong opening, which gets you hooked pretty fast. The vocals come in and are very powerful and have such a punchy tone that really suits the song, the vocals do change throughout the piece and they become clean and melodic which really breaks up the song in a good way.

The guitar throughout this piece shows complexity and there is a mix between distortion and clean sounds, which is blended beautifully. The drums stood out to me because I really love listening to the percussive side to songs and the drumming is just so punchy and strong but when the clean vocals come in, the drums blend in with the more melodic tones and just sounds so nice.

The whole layout of this Track has all these layers that all work so well together and create this intricacy to the piece which makes this so interesting to listen to because each time you listen to it you can pick up on all these different parts that really make this song so it just keeps you wanting to hear more. With the production of the song, it was produced very well and you can hear how creative they were with the composing of this piece. The lyrics were a bit unclear throughout the song but over all, the track came together beautifully.

After listening to this piece I can say I enjoyed most aspects of the song and was impressed, I’m sure there is plenty more coming from these boys and I am keen to hear more from these rad dudes.
