A rose by any other name would smell as sweet, but Red Lotus are no rose. Dancing across genres this Melbourne female fronted four-piece have created a sound that nurtures the harmony between the lyrical intent and the instrumentation. They self-produced their debut EP “Illuminate” which delves into themes of the human condition, ranging from self-destruction and acceptance to discovery. Drawing upon personal experiences vocalist, Stephanie Briffa, has thrown her own afflictions at the heart of each song, stating “it’s important to be able to communicate/convey the emotional connection I have with each and every word, I want people to feel everything I feel when they listen to our songs. For me, creating that connection is the most crucial part of music.”
Consisting of Wade (Vox), Caiden (Guitar), Alex (Guitar), Kha (Bass), Tim (Drums) -Words Of Elizabeth, are a Melbourne based Post-Hardcore band, forever making waves. The members came together from all corners of Victoria, with deep and diverse musical backgrounds, to create something unheard before. With innovative musicianship and emotive lyrics. After starting the project, W.O.E spared no time in composing and recording their debut EP "Autonomy". The record was produced and engineered by Engineering heavyweight Luke Cincotta and mastered by Forrester Savell. Now- some months later we get to see them take the stage!
Sydney hard rockers Dreamers Crime and their debut album "NO COMPROMISES" dropped not too long ago, catching people’s attention. We even ended up reviewing it! Sydney has been pretty lucky seeing an almost sold out show at the Factory Theatre’s Fusebox in December. The band’s release of the album saw their singles “I Believe in You” being premiered on Triple J’s The Racket and single “Here We Are” being given some spins on Triple M. Meanwhile their music videos have each almost hit 10 000 views Its been a year since the boys hit up shows in Melbourne and if history repeats itself, its time for another tour of Melbourne madness! These are the first Australia day shows for Dreamers Crime and they’ve chosen Melbourne for the party. Bring your singing voices, your energy and have a drink with the boys as we bring the "NO COMPROMISES" tour down South of the border.
It started out with actual fam and ended up with the best kind of acquired fam. Letters To Amara are a pop punk/hardcore band from Melbourne forever pushing the lady fronted stereotype to bring to you fresh tunes and blasting breakdowns to enhance our ever growing empowering music and social movement. Never a dull show when you catch our shenanigans!
Rising from the cryptic ashes of Melbourne's metal underground, MrKill present heavy, versatile and mesmerizing sounds fueled with fire and bitter sweet tunes. The music can be best described as melodic death metal with elements of groove, doom and black metal, but is not necessarily restricted to any of these styles. Despite the band being local to Melbourne, the music also sounds very much European. The band began when Cristian and Justin started jamming together in early 2017 trying to find create music that is enchanting but heavy at the same time. Later in 2017 Clint had joined the band on the drums followed by Tony on the bass
