“Tried to drag me down to the bottom. Outside it’s hard to tell I’m where I belong. I will find my way back home.”

“Lost Together” is the debut EP from this 4 piece Wagga Wagga-based Melodic Metalcore outfit and for the most part it’s a really gorgeous release. Lead vocalist Jackson pulls out an impeccable vocal turn especially in the cleans department. There’s a genuine sadness and gripping intensity behind his performance that really captures you from the opening track. I feel that there’s a strong influence from Linkin Park-era nu-metal mixed in with lush melodic backdrops and heavy breakdowns. The best track on the EP would have to be 'Voice' as it experiments with vocal treatments (hushed verses, harsh screams in the chorus) and musically it’s a very dark song. My only criticism is that the band does sound a little generic in places, especially on the track 'Self Help'. Overall it’s still a great release.
