“A State of unrest, I fear in me”
Extinct’s debut single ‘Obsession’ is an absolute brutal track. That’s all… It’s just a pure mosh, crowd-killing, whirly-birding, crab squatting, limb-flailing of a tune. The Adelaide Deathcore outfit are going to shake the heavy scene… literally.
The song starts with an absolute filthy chug and is the precursor of anthem, about to fill you up with rage and send you on a moshing rampage... The second the vocals kick in you can feel the power behind the singer’s voice. The low growls, the high squeals both cleverly placed creating this absolute hard hitting, heavy song.
Personally, I’ve never wanted to jump around like a lunatic before… This song builds my energy and could quite easily be the next big thing to surface the heavy, mosh, deathcore, pure chugging, absolute moshing scene. it’s big, it’s loud, it’s crazy, it’s low… its ‘Obsession’ by Extinct… I urge anyone who reads this to go and see for yourself… it’s crazy!
