“I’m replacing good old loving, with a bundy and a pack of darts”
I don’t think I’ve ever had as big a smile on my face then I had when writing a review of these up and coming Aussie legends. Taken from their upcoming EP “Homeblokes” which is being released on June 22nd this song is one for the ages.
With an explosive and constant groove extending throughout the entire track anyone listening is able to keep their heads banging and their bodies moving as long as this piece is blasting in their ears. The combination of Fish’s powerful vocals, mind boggling lyrics and Lucas, Ricky and Ruckus mighty intense instrumental ability produces an astounding track which any and all listeners can enjoy.
These guys are reinventing the style of classic Aussie rock with almost comedic lyric style and a faster pace compared to their influences such as Sabbath and Black Label Society. I would almost compare the lyrical style of Fish to some excerpts of Fat Mike (NOFX) whilst retaining a raw power and explosive ability matching that of Brian Johnson circa (AC/DC).
These guys have created their own unique sound and I strongly recommend this track to any people interested in hard rock and almost a completely different vibe altogether.
