I'm not going to lie. When I listened to this song for the first time and I almost crashed the car. This song is one of the heaviest tracks I've heard from a local band in a long time. From the moment the song starts it hits you full force like 3 caps dissolving in your gut. 47 seconds into the song and you'd had already killed 5 people with spin kicks to the face and there is still 3 minutes left of the song.
Its down tempo from start to finish, so you better put your best pair of steel caps on and go Code Orange on a bitch (don't actually do that, or i'll gutter stomp on you and your family) "Amphetamine" is well written and composed, the instruments are a mind fuck with how heavy they are and how they all work together and the lyrics are basically a massive "fuck you" with gore and satanism, which tickles my senses as well as my balls. Dane Evans (To The Grave) and Richie Newman (Buried in Verona) are the cherries on top of this track, both of these boys just make the track one of the heaviest releases of 2017. Keep doing what you do boys, it'll get you far in this dog eat dog world that is the Australian music scene.
