From the opening chords of 'Stitch' to the concluding track 'Linger', there is a clear narrative that runs throughout this new EP by the Melbourne-based Alternative Pop-Punk outfit. The band explores a whole range of different emotions on each of the six tracks including fear, emptiness, anxiety, joy, hope, grief and depression. There is a significant step up in terms of lyrical quality compared to Stuck Out’s previous release "What We’ve Come To Be", which is evidence that the band are maturing as individuals and as musicians.

Thematically, the EP deals with confronting personal demons, how love and relationships can empower you, the devastation and grief of losing a loved one and the pain and acceptance that comes with letting go. Musically, this is a well-polished EP thanks in part to the production from Christopher Vernon and mixing from Declan White. But the band members deserve most of the credit for crafting such a catchy yet elegant and well-constructed EP.

Lead vocalist Josh Walker delivers a strong, hearty and brutally honest vocal performance with added backing vocals from guitarist Ian Browney. As a whole, the EP flows seamlessly from one track to the next and further shows how much hard work has been put into the production and creation of this release.
