“Look Who’s Back”: StiFi return to the scene
After a long and dry hiatus of 12 months, Sydney's beloved band Sticky Fingers is back in business, coming back with a bang after weeks of heavily hinted at Instagram rumours of new music in the making on the band members private accounts.
The controversial band initially split due to “internal issues”, with front-man Dylan Frost addressing the issue on his Twitter after certain allegations were made, describing his alcohol addiction and mental illnesses.
The band announced the end of the hiatus with an instagram post captioned “Look who’s back”- while tagging the music festival Bad Friday, who have advertised a secret headliner… nevertheless, to anyone who can fit puzzle pieces together- the ‘secret’ headliner isn't so secret anymore.
The next real question is when they will be releasing new music… what will it be? Will it follow the much loved synth-esque path of Westway, their 2016 hit album, or head back to their roots with a revamped “Caress Your Soul”... or will they pave a new road entirely?
The entire Australian music scene waits on the edge of their seats for more news.
